Combine the grated pear, garlic, onion, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, mirin, and black pepper in a large bowl.
Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well to ensure each piece is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and brush with vegetable oil. Grill the marinated beef in batches, without overcrowding the pan, until nicely seared and cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Serve the cooked beef bulgogi on a platter, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and more chopped green onions. Pair with steamed rice and kimchi for a complete meal.
